The Kichler Smart Control Transformer lets you design and schedule up to three separate lighting zones, so each area of the landscape can be controlled on its own with the Kichler Connects app. It has three 15V taps with three commons and can deliver full output on one zone or spread it across all three.

Size the transformer to the total wattage of the lights on it: add up the fixture wattages and choose a transformer that covers the load. Kichler 12V landscape fixtures are designed to operate between 9 and 15 volts, so they work with these output taps. Follow the instruction sheet for load limits and wire runs. Kichler's instruction sheet says the total load should not exceed the transformer's rated wattage.
